Ballz, if you say you'll rarely ever have 4 sleds in the trailer, why not go for a smaller 3-place trailer? Should still fit your bikes in the summer. Just make the last (4th) buddy to commit to the trip work out a ride on his own lol

yes sir. black 24' v nose. 2008. $6500. Need tires and few dings in the front ramp. It has a trap door in the front floor where a battery rack used to be, looks like for 4 big batterys. not sure what it was used for as the guy didn't know much about the history on the unit (family member that passed owned it) pulled it yesterday and of course it was windy as chit. trailer was moving a little. the 6.2l did really well, i was surprised how well this truck pulls it. It will drink gas no doubt, i have 130l tank in it and from calgary to edmonton only burned just under half a tank and again it was really windy. i'm glad i didn't go bigger, this will be more then enough room for what i want it for. I'm going to call Maverick trailer this week and see if i can get it in for a once over. I'm pretty pumped, won't be throwing any money into it for a few months yet...think i'm going to buy a deck off a site member here soon. any ideas what the battery's would be for?

does the trailer have heat in it? I run 4 6v deep cycle batteries and that makes it so I have a ton of amp hours to spend. Heat, lights, and a inverter make it so the trailer is stand alone for many hours. Consider throwing one of the units I post below in the trailer if you do not have heat in it. Super cheap and easy to install. Build a better tank with a bit more capacity and you would be set to have it run for a weekend or two without even having to consider fuel level. Costco batteries are cheap(ish) and heat is priceless lol. Either way let’s see that sumabitch!

no heat, looks like it did have a heater at one point but was ripped out. that's pretty awesome heater for under 300 bucks! Would be pretty easy to get a bigger tank set up. Now i'm going to spend majority of my morning looking into these heaters haha. The trailer is at my sisters place as i don't have room right now. i didn't snap any pics at all yet. Will post some up when i get to it again. thanks for the info bud

They build the big battery compartments for the trailers with heaters and all the bells and whistles . You should have at least one battery in there hooked up for the trailer brakes breakaway in case it comes disconnected on the highway.

have two battery's up front by the jack. the other rack probably is where they should be but looks like 4 big battery's will fit in there.

Sweet! I wish i had that in my trailer. I only had one up front then added a second in one of the cabinets.
