I dropped by 2017 Chev 1 ton off at Armaguard on the northwest side of Edmonton with Scott, (Armascott, on snowandmud). He and his crews did an excellent job on my truck preparing and installing his product. I would highly recommend contacting his shop if your in Edmonton and if not look for a shop with the ARMAGUARD name behind it, say you saw this on Snowandmud.

They removed my bumpers, running boards, coated both sides. They coated the bottom portion of the truck including around the wheel wells on the body side. I wont have to worry about chips. He had a dodge there, they were even doing the front of the hood and fenders on that truck. His banner appears all over Snowandmud but if you don't see it just click the following link, http://www.armaguardedmonton.com/

Here are a pile of pictures,

Did that to the jeep. Although it holds to no extent you will never get it as clean as the day it was put on. There is always some dust stuck in the tiny little indentations. Especially noticable on a color match

Re: Armaguard - Gotta Get your Truck done

Now need to clean my frame and spray that with some undercoating. The factory finish is almost all worn off alreay. What ever they put on the roads for the last several few years is so hard on vehicles. At least I wont have to worry about the bottoms of the truck. This ARMAGUARD is a supeior product, I would contact Scott if you need your truck, trailer or something protected, or even your entire truck, that would be expensive.

If you want to hide the little bit of dirt in the indents take a hand brush with soap and water. Scrub it down but you don't have to be anal about it. I use the liquid stuff KalTire puts on the tires (got a 4 litre jug quite a few years ago and maybe have another year of stuff remaining). Mix it with a little water and wipe it on with a rag. It hides the little dust/dirt and returns the coating to just about new. I have LineX on my truck deck but a very similar product.

Did you get your running boards done too?

No. The running boards and the air dam is the stock plastic. The tire shine stuff cleans that up nice also. The liquid KalTire stuff works so much better than the spray on cans. I still use the spray on TireShine for the big mud flaps at the back.

That truck is a 2013 with 175,000 and it still looks pretty darn good. The flat deck was put on basically from the get-go and it is holding up very well.

Your truck and deck look amazing. Very nice setup.

I have found that those products collect even more dust a debris especially in off road situations like with the jeep. Probably not a more durable product out there that's for sure I've just never been able to get it cleaned properly regardless of what I'm scrubbing it with

Ron it was nice to finally meet you in person thank you for your business, the great review and posting pics of the protective coating job we did on your truck we appreciate it very much I'm glad you are happy with it.

I was just reading through this thread and I though I would chime in on a few questions that have popped up. First of all yes we can spray colour, we can colour match pretty much any colour out there. With the colour we do go off paint codes, so the colour does match up very close. As for cleaning yes the texture of the product does catch a bit of dirt in it but not too bad, if your truck is dirty the Armaguard will look dirty too. When you wash your truck or whatever is coated I do recommend using that presoak (degreaser stuff) at the car wash on it first. Just spray the presoak on it and let is sit for a couple minutes or so then give it a quick scrub with the wash brush the Armaguard or any bedliner product will clean up good this way. Unfortunately spraying the underside of vehicles doesn't really work with a bedliner coating, the amount of masking and prep in hours would be extremely high ( we spray at 2500psi ) so you can imagine the amount of masking that would be needed. We have done a few vehicles that are being restored underneath but they were brought in on rotisseries. I just recommend sticking with regular undercoating for the undersides of vehicles.

I hope this helps feel free to contact me anytime I would be more than happy to answer any questions.

Thanks Scott

I gave my brother James your info. He has a newer dodge crew cab with 6'6" box, wants the grill black and color match bumpers/6" rocker protection. PM me a quote if you want, if not understandable. He will be in touch.
