looking to get a starter put in the old ford... I hear certified is the way to go? anyone use garage 104? is 1 way good enough? go for 2 way? It's an older pickup but 140 km on a diesel means she will be in the driveway for a while...

id go 2 way for sure. with a diesel you hit the start button and gotta wait almost 2 mins....i don't like standing in the window naked staring at my truck wondering if it started or not haha stupid glow plugs. just my 2 cents.

Get a 2 way for sure. But being an older model ford, theyre the most common stolen truck. I'd be looking into installing a hidden kill switch because it's going to be a matter of when someone tries to steal it, not if.

I had really good luck with a Kijji guy recently. 340 installed on 17 350 diesel. 1 way. 780-909-7523. 2 way was another $60. Master installer 25 years. Can’t recall his name though.. he specifically uses compustart. But there may be others as well.

Did you make a choice on what one to get yet? my new diesel and f150 both have factory starts...wish i had the new style, i think the drone app is pretty cool you can do everything from your phone.
