do your self a favor go drive a new ram, a new gm and a new ford... suddenly you won’t be concerned about the hd transmission in the ram.

I dont think you will get the big HP and Tq without the aisin transmission.

Correct, the 1000 ftlbs is with the Aisin transmission only.

Give Brad McDonald @ Leduc Chyrsler a call - He moved 18K off a limited for another friend of mine.

I called my guy who bought a dealership in the Kootenays who had one of his salesmen call me back, he basically gave me full retail minus the no charge diesel rebate and still came in at $88k... need a new guy, this guy doesnt get er...

A friend of mine just bought a loaded slt 2019 with the Aisin for 60k otd ... down at Olds

I took your advice and went and seen Brad in Leduc and I gotta say I am extremely happy I did.
I've been dealing with Crosstown for my last 3 trucks and today I left there very frustrated with slime tactics, no straight answers and the apparent high turnover of salespeople leaving me with a lottery of which greaseball I'm gonna get to deal with.
Ended up buying a 2019 3500 with the aisin tranny from Brad. So I'll report back if she blows up anytime soon.

Sure would be nice if one of the mods could clean up this thread a little. Maybe delete some posts. Maybe ban a few members. Quite a few off topic posts in here.

I have had both, I went back to the standard transmission this time and spent the money on the air leveling system. I have found the basic transmission a bit smoother. It is plenty beefy enough even with my truck being chipped.

I agree, after owning a 12 and a 17 equipped the same... both have airbags out back...

Thanks you saved me a trip to Crosstown as they have a 18 2500 I was interested in. Tried to buy there before and it was a waste of time. I don't know how these dealers actually make sales? I can't put up with the BS anymore. I bought one from Sherwood and tried them recently, and the same BS. You'd think they'd know you're serious when you've bought there before but nope just BS.

It's sad when you are trying to buy and you just want to get it over with because dealing with the dealership is such a nightmare.
