You could use a marine grade high density polyethylene sheet. Basically plastic plywood.

I think I've gotten 1/2" sheets from home hardware before. They might call it puckboard.

Where would I source something like that in the Edmonton area?

No wood, it's 100% HDPE. If the building centers can't order it in, try the industrial plastic fabrication companies.

Awesome, I was gonna put superglides in but the ply looks kinda rough.
This will probably kill two birds with one stone.

puckboard is like ice. super dangerous. and most 1/2" isnt thick enough in my opinion.
ive had god luck with replacing with 3/4" pressure treated plywood but definitely only a 5 year solution.

Call a place that builds trailers like SWS in Westlock. The plywood they use with the plastic or epoxy top is the best thing you can use.(no idea what it’s called) It’s like $220/sheet though. That’s what they told me about 3 years ago when I had my trailer in there for some skin replacement.

I think cross trax Guys will also sell there composite as well. I believe it’s at least a $1000 extra when ordering as an option

Is it full composite, or plastic coated ply?
Some jackass with carbides raped my deck.
Marine grade 5/8" plywood, 3 coats epoxy paint with traction sand sprinkled into the first layer paint then the next two layers paint then the super glides.
Metal edging or hang the superglides 1/8" over the plywood and you good 6-8 years depending on use.
$150ish per sheet, $120ish gallon for good water borne epoxy pant, traction sand $5.
Super glides the best non slip wear protection out there.
Dawizman has my last deck for durability info.
I know it's wood but its cheap and lasts.
