Looking to add air bags or timbrens to my 15 Ram 2500. Anyone have experience with the timbrens? I started using the deck more this year and sure have body roll with it. Also looking to keep it a bit more level.
yeah that’s the way I was going...then reading about the rubber thingys. Lol.Put in airbags with a remote control and air compressor... You won't regret it
I have ran many of both set ups.
I'm a fan of Timbren, They are out of play until you load it up. easy to install, half the price of airbags and made in Canada.
I have the air lift bags with the internal bump stops so they could be run with no pressure if the sh!t ever hit the fan and their on board compressor with wireless control. I bought the dual circuit system and flat out love it. It works fantastic for when you unload your buddies iron at his place and still have a bit of a ride back home with one sled hanging off one side of the truck and now nothing on the other. Hands down the best air bag system I have ever played with. Sure it wasn’t cheap.... but what do you ever buy cheap that works out to be a fantastic product anyways.
What brand kit did you get? I’ve never heard of bags with internal bump stops.

Air lift bags have the internal stop, overrated I think had them on a truck and never again.. always tapping that stop on rough roads. I have never had issues with firestone bags many a mile off road with 0 psi in the bags
Never felt the bump stop yet... maybe I just don’t know what “tapping that stop” feels like though.... lol
