I believe the new Denailis are carbon fibre box bottoms as well.
Bolt it through the box with some home made quick pins with large backers, legs on 1” thick rubber and then secured by the turn buckles.
I tried to come up with a solution for my factory 5th wheel package but never gave it much more thought. It would tie up some box space.

Haha there appears to be nothing simple about sorting out a new set up.
I wondered about a single point tie down that could fit into the fifth wheel drop hole, then just ratchet type turnbuckles to your chain hooks on the box floor? Would kinda tie up the centre of the truck box though.

You should take your turnbuckles apart and add jam nuts.

Followed a guy up eagles this spring, he had to stop every 8-10k to retighten his turn Buckels... didn't have Jam nuts.

Wore out a lot of trucks with sled decks in them and never a problem bolting through the box as long as 3/4 plywood floor.
Tried it once with 3/4 rubber mat and screwed the box .
Just put a plywood floor in and problem solved .

Well gonna try out turn buckles this year.
Had a strap loosen off on me last year.........
Any tips or tricks?

- 1/2" by 6" turnbuckles
- 7/16" quick links
- extra jam nut
(Missing second jam nut for the left hand thread, do I need it?)

No. One jam nut per turnbuckle is all that’s needed. As long as the middle of the turnbuckle is stopped from turning, the eye bolts can’t move more than a 1/4 turn due to the quick links

Never seize on the threads. Lol, I know it sound counter intuitive.
Ive done 1 jam nut and the never seize and have had no issues.
I have had issues with the turnbuckles seizing, and are a PITA when they do.

just bolt it to your bed..I’ll send pictures of mine, and it’s aluminum and zero issues. It’s the solve all solution.
I find bolting down is the best, ran Marlon's mounting kit this last time and works awesome for getting the height set exact and decent foot print in the box. For extra piece of mind i also ran turn buckles/ chain to the box mounts with jam nutz.

What you guys using to stop these flip out extensions from bouncing? Ended up cracking both legs, gonna have to give Neil a bug. Annnnnd anyone have a few pieces of glides they want to sell so i don't rip up the wood on this small extension. :d
