Hey,

I am wondering if anyone here has tried to install a relay on the new Ford LED headlights to keep power on to the lowbeams when using the highbeams? I am not super electrically gifted, but have been curious if this is do-able and if anyone on here has tried it?
On a similar note, would it be possible to do a relay to keep the fog lights on aswell? Essentially keeping all the vehicle lights on simultaneously?

Not a big fan of installing a light bar on the truck, and would rather use the lights that are on the truck. They are good by themselves, but would be great all together.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Anything would be doable. But

I wouldn’t mess with the factory wiring so you don’t end up on the road with no head lights one day. Also don’t give the dealer any excuses to deny your warranty because you tampered with the wiring.

That's fair. Trucks aren't as simple as they once used to be. I was hoping for a simple solution to give me what I was looking for, but if I have to really mess with the factory harness you're right about it. I am going to keep doing some digging as maybe there is something simple that I've missed and go from there.

My 2016 with LED headlights all four are on when high beams are on.
Must have screwed with them in 2018?

PS, and hopefully you wouldn’t be one of those that have to run around with the @&)king fog lights on at all times . :)

Ordered the OBDII tuner off Amazon, downloaded ForScan and went in to the computer and changed some of the programming..

-Stopped the horn from honking when i walk away with the truck running.
-Hi/LO and foglights all on at the same time - works awesome and with the auto high beams the truck looks after it all..
-Changed some of the instruments
-Changed it so you can't put the truck in gear once its been started with the fob - try it - if you start your truck with the fob and get out you don't need the fob to put it in gear so i changed that too..
