I bought these bullet proof ones when i had my dodge so moved them over to the ford when i traded had them since 2012

I also bought the Bullet Proof ones for my 2018 SD. I have 35" tires and no fender flairs. Went with the 12" kick backs. They are awesome.

Sorry to sidebar the thread, @sledneck_11, what did you do to the tailgate? I hate the bright aluminum on mine.

Friend of mine owns a tint/graphic shop in town i had it wrapped black along with any other peice of chrome on the truck

Mine came with dealer installed ones. They put them on too high and the running boards load up with snow or mud like you wouldn't believe. Obviously too low can get them ripped off in reverse but these were done wrong. Not easy to change now as there's some kind of inserts installed for the fasteners because of the aluminum.

www.triggerindustriesinc.com make some nice stuff, you can get different widths if your running dishes. I had 12" on old rig and my rims are 14 wide but they did the trick.

True, but if your rocking a 2018 F350. like the O.P is, probably $75-90G rig....you can pony up $600-900 for a set of the best mudflaps...juuus my 2cents.

I run long jons mud flaps on my old dodge they cost like 100 bucks from napa and work well but there no bullets lol
Gatorback is nice b/c they use factory fasteners to install. That makes it easier to align, doesn't require drilling any holes in your fenders and you just have to adjust the width..
The rest of the big offset, black powder coated rubber hangers are all pretty much the same and require self tappers through the fender and are quite a bit more difficult to align but too bad..
Price is pretty close - i want to say gatorbacks would be about $6-650 but you could install yourself pretty easy.. The big offset should be in the same price range but you will likely want to hire someone to install as it can be a PITA..

Be careful with this there is a reason that the gator back kits are so expensive they are all bolt on with aluminum hardware. If you use screws with dissimilar metals can cause accelerated corrosion. Aluminum and steel together are bad news. Google galvanic corrosion for more info.

They came with aluminum self taping cap heads.
