Fair comment, but makes it tough when Ford calls the specs and 15w40 is the requirement. I ran 5-40 in cold climates, but during summer or hot climates, 15-40 was the easiest. Plus, 15-40 works in everything else.
0w40 also works in everything, so why change for winter-summer

I use it in quads, rzr, dirt bikes, cars, vans, trucks, lawn mower

It's great for gas engines new and old as it has zddp ( vinc in the oil), so works in old cars without additives ( zddp)

My grandpa use to put 15 40 in everything.

Said a guy only ever needed one oil. Lol

Because I did not need to spend the extra $$ on synthetic oil in a climate where the coldest temp's are 0C.

100% on a huwi injector, cokes the Injector up, because the oil is to thick and tacky cold

I serviced a fleet and as soon as I switched the trucks to 0w40 year round the injector issues pretty much disappeared

HEUI injector. As for the guys saying they have worked on them what do you think of how the mains are set up? Had an oil leak on what we originally thought was the pan. Nope. I think I was the first one in Alberta to fix that oil leak while at International.
