So went out to the storage lot to get some preliminary stuff done to the trailer for the upcoming long weekend. Plan was install the batteries, check propane levels, look for winter leaks that kind of stuff.
Went to open the slide, only one side moves...wtf??
Checked under, the bolt on the drive axle on the idler side was corroded to the point it broke. Must have fallen out while it was under way to the lot last fall, nothing was left in the hole.
Waiting for the RV dealer to open to check on if it's a regular bolt, or if it should be a shear pin. I'd buy it should be a shear pin, never know if its going to hit a tree, or some other object when opening. I'll update when I find out.

Dealer service manager not sure if they are shear pins or not.
I'm going to get shear pins anyway, replace both with a couple extra. Just in case, because they are shear pins :)

What kind of slide is it? It's a pretty common problem on a lot of motorhoes too. IRV2 is a good forum to find info on them.
