Just bought one 11,700 off of MRSP. I was able to get the X-plan pricing through my EAA membership.
2018 f350 long box crew diesel 4x4 platinum. This is what he sent me so I dunno what msrp is. Dunno if its a good deal or not. Cheers!//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180428/5daddd2a90c2768089eb61149aa00144.jpg
What trim level/options did you get?
XLT premium package
Is that not a lease agreement?
Dunno. Just passing on the info. Looks like he paid 77k.
Congrats Ray.
77k for a platinum is a pretty good deal, Msrp would be 93-95.
Not a chance in the world he got a platinum diesel for $77K. If you look at the lease agreement he’s paying the lease costs monthly totalling 69k plus a $27k residual payment totalling $96k....they can juggle the numbers to make him feel better but at the end of it he’s paying full MSRP for that truck. He gets to rent it for the term of the lease and then has to turn it back or pay them $27k to keep it....just shows that unless it’s for a business and you can write the lease off on your taxes, leasing is a really bad idea.
Im confused....didnt he say it was an XLT? That isnt a platinum.
I still cant get my head around what a new diesel costs these days
I'm sure glad I have my old $200 dollar / worn out Dodge Lumber wagon that costs me nothing to drive across all of North and South America once again.
Less the parts that need fixing that is.
Yuppers,,, 1.89 million miles on the old girl with 3 motors, 7 tranny oil changes, 1 rear-end, 2 T-cases, 28 sets of tires and 7 brake pad changes.
Just getting ready to do coast to coast across Canada and the USA on trip number 127 if I recall.
Ye Ha,,, bring on the good times of no payments for Snow Flake Lem. LOL
I just took delivery of a 2018 f350 CCLB platinum 6.2 gas. I ordered it in December and paid roughly 16% off of MSRP tax in. Talking with the sales manager when I picked it up he was saying that ford was shorting the Canadian orders and superdutys were hard to get, so best case for a truck was full invoice. ( about 89% of MSRP typically). Nobody in southern Alberta has much for superdutys so they’re not gonna deal much. They might move more if you order a specific truck.
