Seems like they went away for a few years, but now noticing that a lot of the newer 3/4 and 1 ton trucks are again using rear anti sway bars. Any particular reasons why? Is it a worthy upgrade to a 1 ton without?

The superduty I have on order doesn’t have one, but I’ll be putting an aftermarket helwig setup on it. Makes a huge difference in handling when the deck is on loaded with the quads. If you don’t put a deck or camper on it might not be necessary, but I’ve always had one on my trucks.

Thanks for your input. Just seeing so many new trucks with them on now. Found a good deal on the Hellwig and reviews are very positive. Think I'll pull the trigger. Not that there is anything wrong with the truck loaded, and we are certainly loaded during camping season, but a lot of the reviews state that the truck rides so much better with one, even unloaded!

I found many of the new trucks are sprung soft, likely to help improve the ride, so having the sway bar helps.

mid if I ask where you’re gonna buy it from and the price? I’ve got to get one as well.

Best price I could find on the internet actually turned out to be 4Wheel Parts. Also found a coupon code for another $20 off (4WPAFEXAPR5). Beat out Amazon, eBay, eTrailer etc.
