LED headlight bulbs?

What are you using?
I don't want to eff around with ballasts or anything just want reliable brighter lights.

The canbus adapter means I won't have issues, right?

Maybe I should just add a light bar.......

Nothing with those no. I haven't had any issues with the Tahoe's Display or bulb out alarms. I did all exterior and interior bulbs LED (except high beam at the moment) only have to add a resistor to the turn signals to avoid hyper flash.

Those seem ok, i just wonder about over heating without a fan? any bulb or Higher end LED i cam across had a fan or some method of removing the heat.

Again I'm no expert thought, just spent some time researching them and im happy with the VLED so far.

Also i had to return a fog lamp bulbs as the indexing wasn't correct(trying to be cheap and buy a clearance item) and there was no hassle( i just ate the shipping which wasn't much)

Any extra light is better than factory on most vehicles.

This is the first I have looked into these, I have alot to learn.
Got scared away during the HID era.

I have run Lifetime LED bulbs in my 2014 F350 headlights. I'm not sure how these ones work, but the ones i had one led on one side was low beam and the other side was high beam, meaning only half of the housing was lit up at a time and the light wasn't ever dispersed properly on the road. There are other designs that have multiple leds that turn on or off and some that slide back and forth for high/low beam, but I'm not sure how well they would work either. I have yet to use a non-halogen light that makes the high beam function properly on these trucks.

I also ran a different brand of 9005 LED's in my fogs for a year but ran in to issues with flicker after awhile and eventually they burnt out. Currently I run Brightsource HID's in both my headlight and fog lamps, the high beams still don't aim properly, but the cutoff is much better with them on low beam sending less light into oncoming drivers eyes.

If your 15 is like my 14 you don't need a canbus adapter, they don't flicker without it. I believe canbus is more of an issue with dodge products.

Remove headlights, bake them in the oven, split them and start hacking.. install the projector kits, use LED or HID bulbs and stick them back together. The retrofit source has great videos on the process on their U tube channel.

Remove headlights, bake them in the oven, split them and start hacking.. install the projector kits, use LED or HID bulbs and stick them back together. The retrofit source has great videos on the process on their U tube channel.
Gah, that's a little extreme for me.

I'll change a bulb if it makes a big difference, but if it's to big of a hassle I'll just add a light bar.

Put a light bar on the front of mine, have had many different lights, usually the bigger brighter the better, this time I went with 2 spots and 2 floods. Just 4" cubes and they are the best set up so far. Get very little brights and they can stay on much longer when meeting a vehicle, I just shut the spots off to start. Factory are junk

What brand of light bars are you running?

The ones now are ridgid but I sell speed demon now and they have a comparable cube. Pricing much better.

Once you go down this route there is nothing comparable. Run their FX3.0 bi xenon in my 15 Silverado, there isn't a light bar out there that will come close to what those lights cover.
