Looking at a new 28' Mission enclosed with in floor heat. Has anyone been having problems with dirt and water in the ducts? Make any difference over a roof mounted furnace? Don't see too many of them around it seems like.

Also any opinions on Neo vs Mission trailers?

Thanks

Relatively new trailer to me so haven't had a lot of experience with it yet. Cant say much for dirt since we never really use in the summer with muddy stuff but what water does get in seems to drain. There's just a plastic strip under the trailer that covers the two ducts so i was thinking of just drilling a couple holes at the front and back to make sure it drains. You can only run one of the furnaces at a time while running on battery power but both can be run simultaneously if you are plugged into 120v. It helps to circulate the heat better but there is no thermostat on the floor furnace so its either on or off. We just run it to get a good start on the melt and then use the overhead for when we are in there working on stuff. Definitely use the overhead more but cranking both on warms the place up in a hurry.

Ya no major complaints. Pulls well and seems to be built nicely. The interior has enough lights to give a small sun a run for its money but not a single exterior loading light which is a little goofy. There is a "main power" switch inside but all it really does is kill the lights. The furnaces, stereo and fuel pump are all still active with it off. I was kind of hoping it would kill all the power just as a little more security so nobody decides to help themselves to our fuel. But this is all minor stuff that could be fixed with a little wiring.

Well this trailer just made a liar out of me. I guess the water wasn't draining as well as it thought. Went to kick on the floor heat and everything was running but there was no air coming out of the floor ducts. Ended up pulling off the flex hose from the furnace to the manifold and it was full of ice. So i cranked on the propane heater and aimed it under the trailer for a while and drilled a couple holes in the aluminum tube the air runs through and eventually got all the water out. So if you ended up buying that trailer take a look underneath and drill yourself a couple holes.
