Thinking of swapping my 2012 dodge diesel 3.42 gears for3.73 or 4.10, any recommendations on Edmonton area shop that would do itproperly? More concerned with having itdone right than cost. Thanks!

The dealer?? Than you have 1 year warranty on the parts.

To clarify I already have used 3.73 and 4.10 gears so no warranty on parts would apply. Also truetracs to go in each end and I'll probably put a freehub kit in the front. Just looking for recommendations on a shop with a good "gear guy" who can do the setup properly.

I would call DJ @ Clutch & Grab Transmission 780-413-3170, they have been a site supporter for years and have done lots of drive line work for lots of members here on the site.

I used Canadian Drive line. They swapped rear ends on my truck. Haven't had any issues

Thanks everyone, a few options it seems. Maybe I'm overestimating the complexity involved with setting the pinion depth and preload.

Alberta Driveline installed 4.56 gears on my 2012 Ram 3500. Had them in for over a year now, lots of miles towing our 40' toy hauler and no issues.
