im not going to like asking this but what do they check for slip tank?
I might have one in my truck never really knew the "rules"?
Mines bolted to sled deck and sled deck has all four legs bolts down with backing plates as well as four turnbuckles. so its secure if thats all they are worried about

How it was plumbed into truck how it was mounted and how many litres, they never gave me any trouble with mine it holds 150 litres is bolted to the truck and is gravity fed into my tank. But im sure they prob see some pretty interesting stuff roll in and out of town

Insulated one of my tool trailers with this. 1" has the same R values as 6" of fibreglass. Easy to work with has lots of flex to it so it doesn't snap like rigid insulation.

Love the idea of putting the cardboard in there for the spray foaming.
What would it add for weight to foam an entire trailer?

Haha let's say possibly someone I know has a tank that's not gravity fed but with a electric valve and a small electric pump.... Still bolted securely to the box and all and a well built tank... Trouble?

On my 29ft trailer with 1 inch on the walls, 2 inches on the ceiling, and 3-4 inches on the floor it added about 400lbs
I have a car hauler with 7000lb axles so the weight didn't worry me, ( I needed a heavier trailer since I also have 100 gallon on board fuel system and generator and a whole pile of other sh*t) lol It sure made the whole trailer way stiffer!

Ya doesn't have that tinny rattle sound going over every piece of washboard out there?
How do you guys with mid heights find they are in the show around the parking lots and stuff. I pulled my buddy's out last winter with my Duramax at stock height and we had about a foot of fresh in the parking lot every morning and it was like pushing around a boat anchor. Would the deck over be better for that stuff?

My old 16' deck over held 4X163 sleds but super freakin tight....My new 22' all sport holds 4X163 sleds but with lots of room. I prefer the lower deck height. Pulls nicer, dont have to pin it when loading, can actually walk on the ramp without sliding all the way down and as far as dragging snow goes, if you axle deep in fresh....it won't matter anyway...lol

That's what I have & it's perfect for 3. 16' mission V-Nose Car hauler - no front ramp. 2 sleds in forwards, and third in backwards up the middle. Still lots of room for gear bags.

You could probably get away with a 14' + v-nose if you loaded first sled up the middle forwards, then 2 in backwards on either side. May be too much weight on back depending on axle placement though. Pulling a trailer that's light on the tongue gets scary real quick.

I agree. I wouldn't go with a 14' unless it was only 2 sleds and 8.5 wide. Better to go bigger
