I have an 06 Duramax and bought a fass system for it. I have the drawstraw already but was reading about the sump option instead. There's a few benefits to each, was looking at the sump for ease of install but not sure about the debris and what not you will be dealing with in the bottom of the tank, and also possible leaks etc. What are most guys using on here?

I use the draw straw. Didn't like the idea of having a cut out in the bottom of the tank to possibly leak. I'm running Fass titanium 150gph. Never had a problem with anything on the pump or pick up. I also drive an 06' duramax.

I don't like the idea of the sump. If a guy put it in I would still drop the tank to romo e any gunk. There's trucks running some big power using the straw so don't think there's any need for it on a stock or relatively stock truck
