Not a chance, you can tear those panels with about 80lb of force if it’s a hard angle. Maybe pulling perfectly flat across, but nobody ties anything down like that.

This hole was from customer tossing plywood into his box
Punched a 2” hole right thru the inner, just ‘cus it hit on a funny angle.

Find that hard to believe given the amount of abuse my box takes.

It’s all about the angle with the fords, they can take a massive hit with something blunt, but anything sharp punctures, and they don’t take repeated vibration well. Box liner is a must with those trucks in my opinion. Have yet to see one cut thru with linex, have seen at least a dozen with holes in the box not coated.

In a 2017+ if hasn’t been stated the “box link” system would likely have decent tie down capacity I believe they are each rated 275lb horizontal 600lb vertical capacity.

I would like to see a deck manufacturer make an adaptor to mount the deck into factory 5th wheel anchors. Like this but big enough to get to all 4 corners.
