Looking for some opinions on a good/higher quality rv. Want one with a bunk room. I have had a few in my life and they all seem to fall apart. Just wondering what people have found out with their own experience. Thanks.

My experience is they are all built like crap - just some are a little better than others. Current trailer is a Rockwood. Decent floor plan including outdoor kitchen which we have found awesome. Good fit and finish compared to many.

Look at arctic fox. Not the fanciest, a little heavier, but much better built and longer lasting than most.

I have a Denali. Quality is OK. I don't know which would be a really good one for sure but if I was replacing, I would move up to a Crusader by Prime Time Manufacturing. Here is the link to our favorite: Crusader Fifth Wheels by Prime Time Manufacturing

The Crusader seems to have a better fit and finish without getting into the real expensive units.

I agree with this. I run a Newmar class A (they used to make 5th wheels, but no more) and wanted Tiffen or Newmar for the quality. Problem is, even though the basic construction and fit and finish is better, the basic components on ALL RVs is the same.....you are going to get Atwood hot water and furnace (junk), Thetford crapper (junk), Kwikee or Lippert steps (junk), Norcold or Dometic fridge (junk), Dometic or Coleman AC (junk), Shurflo water pump (junk)....getting the idea? (can you tell I've had a few RV's....these names are imprinted in my nightmares).

That said, Arctic Fox and Jayco are good names

I can only speak to Open Range and Arctic Fox. Had a AF, out grew it then bought a 367BHS Open Range fiver.... $70000.00 POS !!!! Sold it 8 months later it was total crap!
Went back to a bumper pull Arctic Fox 32F. I will never sway from AF again. Not sure why some think it's not fancy enough??? It is 10x more luxurious then the OR ever was. It is heavier for a reason... It's built better imo, not to bash any other brand other than the 2.
Arctic Fox = Great!
Open Range = Crap ! Junk! POS

I had great luck with all my Artic Fox trailers and have been happy with my Cedar Creek so far, 2 years and counting.

Had a few RVs and found them to be manufactured with poor quality. Have never had one but any of the Artic Fox units that I have looked at look to be built heavier and with better quality.
If it where me lookin for a unit I'd be buyin a AF that's been well looked after and a few years old.

These days I'd think you should be able find exactly what you want at a good price.

The hard part of finding a used AF is most... Not all but lots have been lived in. We looked at lots, 9 out of 10 were oil field or road construction guys.

You need to research who the parent company is. Half the guys here are just quoting the name on the front and they are coming out of the same factory in Indiana. My dad has a Carriage and they are very nice and well built but also not in business any more so you would need to go used. Okanagan built a high quality unit as well but also not in business (seems to be a trend here, only the crap survives). AF also build awesome units.

General Coach Citation or Corsair 29BHS was very good. Last one built might have been 2007 or so. You might be able to find a nice one still.

Re read ur post... I do miss the outdoor kitchen... Sink mainly
We ought the BHS because I thought it would be great for the kid to have all his toys in there!!!
4 weeks in I was always tripping over his stuff in kitchen and living room????
I said to the kid what's the deal ? You have ur own playroom tv, bed and table????
But I want to be with you guys!!! ....I turned to the wife...I guess we're selling this POS!
We only have one kid so probably be different with more. Our trailer now we bought totally with having him right there with us whenever he wants, cause that's what it's all about for us.

I had a Fleetwood and upgraded to a small Desert Fox toyhauler (same as Arctic Fox) and man I love this thing. The quality is way better than a Fleetwood and I found the used price was the same as all others. It's a lot heavier though so prepare for that.

Arctic fox is made by north woods they make Good stuff compared
to most I am a Rv tech and most area all made the same , the rough roads are what will kill the cheap ones

Imo the only down fall of AF is they are geared more towards. Couples or consultants living in them. Not much family floor plan friendly in the Silver fox edition series.
I love my 32F but it's not a family plan but we like it.
