Imo the only down fall of AF is they are geared more towards. Couples or consultants living in them. Not much family floor plan friendly in the Silver fox edition series.
I love my 32F but it's not a family plan but we like it.

They definitely seem more tailored to the older demographic.

Ya! I get it to, hard sell to majority families. Most won't spend that much when they only use it 2 x a year.

We have had a fair amount over the years and like the above mentioned they all have their problems.. Some much more than others

we went this last time between carriage or voltage and decided with voltage.. It still uses a few of the problematic appliances but over all has been built very well, with only minor problems.... Like carriage its weight is much heavier than others and gives the truck a decent load when loaded, it comes in with truck just over 30k lbs

I can only speak to Open Range and Arctic Fox. Had a AF, out grew it then bought a 367BHS Open Range fiver.... $70000.00 POS !!!! Sold it 8 months later it was total crap!
Went back to a bumper pull Arctic Fox 32F. I will never sway from AF again. Not sure why some think it's not fancy enough??? It is 10x more luxurious then the OR ever was. It is heavier for a reason... It's built better imo, not to bash any other brand other than the 2.
Arctic Fox = Great!
Open Range = Crap ! Junk! POS
Have a buddy in the RV biz and he dumped Open Range for that reason. Said warranty claims were 3 to 1 on the main brand they sell. Sells K-Z exclusively now.

The hard part of finding a used AF is most... Not all but lots have been lived in. We looked at lots, 9 out of 10 were oil field or road construction guys.

Ya don't get me started on their warranty BS! I bought mine in Redcliff, they told me no problem for getting work in Red Deer..... Just forgot to mention that I have to pay up front then THEY decide if it's warrantied after work is done??? Ya that POS uncle Bens took me for $780 of so called un warrantied work!! Leaking water lines under overhang buried inside frame! They said it was from not using a regulator which I do but the water pressure in Kelowna where we stay u can stop water with ur thumb!!! Anyway they got my $780 but I know enough people in RD and news spreads fast I even posted it at work...300 plus and with shutdowns we have over a 1000 . It never mattered before when times where good but now I hope only the best survive!

Where is that dealer? I'd like to see the KZ line up.

I have heard of other dealers doing that also. Especially if they are not the selling dealer.

We had a KZ spree for 7 years. Only warranty claim was the sealant between the roof and front cap leaked after the second winter. Dropped it off and picked it up a couple days later. Great service. Waiting on better weather to go pick up our durango 1500 from him. Success RV in Watrous SK. If your looking for a KZ.

Grand design trailers are very well built, I have the momentum m348 fifth wheel toy hauler and it seems to be well built ! This company started with about 5 years ago with the guys from keystone ! Also arctic fox is hard to beat

Well I just bought the same trailer. I can put the Harley in the back.
Id say it is very comparable to AF... I looked at the Fuzion, Road Warrior and Voltage
The voltage was junk, the rest was not even close to the Grand Design level. Imo

I have my 32A Arctic Fox for sale if anyone wants a great custom ordered trailer.

bought a 2014 keystone alpine in 2015, from schwub in leduc. Would not fix anything on warranty the first year. Had 2 vallances around the windows fall off. An electical plug was loose would not fix. Screen on door was coming off had to really complain to get it fixed. Leather chairs cracking, paid 63000.00 . To me now is worth about 10000.00. Between keystone and schwub i got it up the rear big time.

We got an Open Range now. Some don't like em but ours is wicked good, no issues at all everything works just like it should. As far as build quality goes we haven't had an issue on fit and finish or anything.

We had a keystone and it was brutal, slide leaked, windows never sealed properly, the bath door never would shut right, drawers never stayed closed, had to buy all new hardware and locks and install it otherwise we would show up at the campsite and everything would be everywhere. The outside tap water lines leaked had a small cut in them from install, I had to capped them off. The dead bolt lock never worked until I got out the hammer and chisel. We tried to get warranty for said items and they pretty much said F*ck Off, not our problem.

I'd like to hear some feed back after you've had the Grand Design for a while, I just stumbled across a 24 bunk house bumper pull that I love the looks of..... in Kijiji Photo's anyways, but definitely higher priced than comparable models (MPG 2400BH, Passport 2400 BH etc). Might have to go kick the tires on it.......

We have a 24 foot Citation that we bought new in 2002 and it has been excellent. I wanted to buy one more new trailer before I retire but can't find one built as well as the Citation so I'll probably just keep it.
