Yamaha Model and Year Question

Just bought a 1997 Yamaha Exciter II 400 Long Track. The Yamaha stickers on the side say it was made in 4/96. All the sites I have visited don't list this sled for this year. That makes it difficult to find parts on line. Any ideas?

Could be made in 96 and sold in 97 I would think .

Your sled is a 97, The date on the sticker is manufactuer date. ( When it come off the assembly line). "right on keep her shinny side up"

Enticer II maybe?? And I think it would be a '96 model, usually anything built after June would have been a '97.
