WR450 pricing

What's a good price for a new 2011 WR450? They have them on for 8000$ here right now. Is that an average price?

I would think that with the new fuel injected model coming out in 2012 that that price would be a little high. I bought a like new 2008 wr250 for my daughter for $ 3900.
