My drive clutch on my 2012 RMK needs a refresh and I don't have the tools to rip it apart, who is within a reasonable drive from Olds that knows what they're doing when it comes to clutch work?
Much of the primary can be "serviced" right on the sled. No special tools needed to change the spring or even change weights. From there its easy to blow air through it, check or free movement and such.
Servicing the buttons will require spider removal but you can even fab up some tools as shown on youtube numerous times.
Ya the rollers and buttons need to be replaced, I ended up taking it to a dealer to get done, 200ft/lbs on the jam nut, I didn't want to bend something trying to get it apart with the proper tools.
It was a sh!t show, took it to a dealer, paid around $200 I think, first day out the clutch started rattling really bad, buttons were coming apart on the spider, rollers didn't look great after that either. I'm not sure if it was sh!tty install or sh!tty parts but I ended up buying a good condition used clutch and took the other one back to the dealer, they refunded my money.
