complete new rkt 860 r out of an 07 with dynaport exhaust v force reeds carbs wiring harness and computer mapped for the bb with primary clutch and a team roller secondary whats it worth motor has under 500 km on it

500 km is a hole season of riding pretty much, mayby 2 seasons for some ppl.

for a start why not just take the retail of price of everything, then divide it in half and thats what its worth...???

i said under 500 its got more like 300 anyways bigbore kit $3000 shortblock motor $3000 oilpump v force reeds carb boots exhaust valves etc $1000 carbs and wiring harness with computer plus re mapping $1000 plus both clutches at least a $1000 full dynaport exhaust including y pipe with probe holes at least another $1000 your looking at like $10000 with out labour for this stuff and 300km is like a weekend in revy

why the hell would u pay that much money for this setup lol, u could get something very similar from Brent L for half the price i bet, even with him installing it, and that would be all new parts.

shortblock motor $1500 (dont u have your origional)
oilpump v force reeds carb boots exhaust valves etc $500 (reeds do nothing for you on these engines as they are a v-force knock off)
carbs and wiring harness with computer plus re mapping $500
clutches at least a $100 (thats what i did mine, u can get a djkit for 250)
full dynaport exhaust including y pipe with probe holes at least another $650 ($1000 is what i paid for twins from jaws)

total on used stuff and do it yourself = $4450

so your saying that 5000 isnt a good deal for a new engine and every thing under the hood they dont make them anymore but a long block from skidoo used to be like 6000

i'd say 3000 would be a decent deal. did not relize u were looking to buy a complete engine and electronics. From my experience even this is high but seeing how it is somewhat new, that would be a decent deal.

at the end of the day, the guy selling this stuff is probly having a hard time, there isnt a huge market cause most people have engines/electronics are intact and working. for $5000+ you could probly get a custom engine build to do something up for you.

this stuff is mine my original post was to ask people what they think its worth i want $5000 for the motor and everything attached to it and everthing else under the hood goes to exept the chain case. the motor fuel system oil tank, pump, lines, carbs clutches everything wiring headlight throtle cables you name it it all goes as one package would be great for a project sled and i belive there's warranty till end of season on motor if any questions can call 780 305 9689

your pricing is out to lunch. a shortblock from skidoo is 2750 with my discount. so closer to 3000 for anyone else.

rkt bb is 2500$ not installed. doesnt matter if its not an arctic edge kit kelseys stuff works and thats what the price is.

5000 is a steal for all this stuff.

and i put 300-500km on in a good 3-4 days of riding...your season sure is short
