Westlock area

Im in the Westlock area, and looking to meet some people to ride with. Snow is pretty THIN to say the least right now, but still can find a few ditches to bang in. I want to go to Swan Hills, but it's hard to get away sometimes. The Long Island Lake Trail system is pretty fun to ride, haven't been there this year yet. Hear there is about 5" of snow. not alot. But still like to ride raguardless of the limited snow, and would love to meet some people that have the same passion for it as I do. SO, send me a messege if there are any local sledders that want to hang out. :d:d

Went out riding yesterday, weather was awesome. Snowed the other day so it was completely un-touched. Had to make my mark....:d I did do a flip over the handle bars near the end of my day. Crossing a roadway, and decided to cut through a spot that was un-touched, and underneath were a set of train tracks..... DAM, stop dead... it threw me up in the air. My hubby said I was straight up, like doing a hand stand. Went over the hood, fell to the ground, bashed up my leg and shoulder, and knocked the wind outta me.

WAS PRICELESS, wish we had it on video, could have sent it to funniest home videos. Bad thing is I need to replace my ski, the tracks took a big chuck out of the side. I wanted some wider ones anyways, but didnt want to do it right away.

I got back up, brushed the snow off, and rode for another hour or so. After that, I started feeling my aches and pains. Headed home to self medicate and relax. I am sore and stiff this morning but ready for another day of riding. Might head to the Long Island Lake trials or the river banks along the Pembina, had an invite yesterday. I will take pictures and post later.

Went to the Long Island Lake Trails today, Jan.18/2009. Weather was awesome. Trails were a bit rough, but still was a good day. Here are some pictures of our day.. Enjoy :d

Just riding around home again. Found some AWESOME drifts. :d 3-4 ft drifts, well they WERE, until we had at them, LOL. :d
