Here are two pics of a pit that we dug at Allan creek on Saturday afternoon. This pit was dug in the tree line around the Allan Creek Cabin. There are a number of very distinct layers right now but the third one from the top at about 18"-24" kept showing up all day when we were digging our machines out.
