After years of working with Landowners Tri-County has sign up 18km of trails from Ministik To Hay Lakes.
The Landowners have signed under the agreement of:
-- Snowmobiles Only - NO QUADS
-- Snowmobilers must stay on the trail, to prevent damage to crops and land
The trail exits the Ministik Trail System through Centennial Park Campgrounds and the 18km across farmers land to the town of Hay Lakes

Please enjoy these trail and respect the landowners wishes or we will lose the right to ride on their land.

NOTE - As this is private land - any quadders riding across this land can and will be charged under the 2004 Petty Trespass Act with Trespass at $2000.00 first offence and $5000.00 second offence. We want voluntary compliance but if the quads effect or threaten the land use agreement we have with the famers, we will call in the RCMP to monitor the trail and fine quadders.

We have spent years getting to here we will not lose it because of someone wanting to quad down the SNOWMOBILE TRAIL.

Check out the Trail at

Thanks for the tour yesterday Brian. One question about the Hay Lakes trail. You said there were some gates that needed to be closed behind, are these marked (in case they have been left open by someone else).

The farmers have opened the field gates for us to pass through and then will be closed during the spring and summer to prevent public access to the fields

Hope you had a great ride on Sunday and thanks for your help drilling the ice to make sure we are all safe crossing the lakes

For everyones info the ice is between 15"-17" on all the lakes.
BUT - all lakes have some springs on then so allways becarefull.
Larry Lake beside Fire Island has a spring with open water --careful.
