a little bottle of multi lube... but I need to buy a real cable luber for bikes.

double check the routing of your cable? I know they can get tight with a sharp bend in them.

I've put lower risers on several sleds before and never had an issue but putting on a taller one will cause a problem if you don't compensate for it, btdt.

On my last doo the cable would start to freeze if the thumb warmer was on while riding in light dry powder. I only use thumb warmer on the trail now.

not saying that, just look at cable routing and the easy stuff like lube first. your 1" change shouldnt need anything else.
