I just want to thank everyone who responded about my broken down 1000. the problem ended up being the ground wire from the neg post on batt to where it connects on the sled. There was some corrosion on the connector and also the special washer was not touching the connector. The connector was touching a flat aluminum surface on one side and against the battery holder on the other. Now that i found the problem i seem to remember removing that bolt last season when i changed the chain. So thanks again to everyone that replied
I still seem to have one problem, when i shut the skidoo off my fuel pump will stay running for about 25 seconds until the power going to the tach turns off.
I dont remember the pump running after the sled has been shut down prior to the ground problem. thanks 4 the help
