Just installed a vortech bypass on my 10 psi s/c Rx1 mtn replacing the smaller hks bov. now the transition from vac to boost is surging badly. S/c install is according to Mpi instructions, installed by self Dec 06. Bypass lets out boost at idle and closes upon boost which this one is supposed to do. Surge was not as noticable with smaller bov but that one was not open at idle. Anyone else running mpi setup, if so has anyone moved the fuel regulator sensing line to ports behind carbs?
