Summit X 670 MPEM

I Have a 1998 summit x 670 ho. I don't use the DPM (I run a Holtzman ATACC which works great). I have narrowed down my ignition problems to the MPEM module. Can I use the MPEM from a MXZ 670 HO motor in my summit or are the timing curves too different?

are you running your 670 with or with out the airbox and the ataac ?
just about to install a couple of these on 670 with out airboxes ( K&n pods)
