My son-law owns a 2008 Subaru Impreza and since day one has had a fog like film develop on his windshield during temperatures like today -4C and colder to the point his visability is impaired. He has taken it back to the dealership to correct this problem and has gotten nothing but lip service and BS to correct this problem. The best the dealership has to offer is using armour -all wipes to clean the windshield and the problem comes back, has anyone experienced this problem and what has your dealership done to correct it. This Edmonton dealership will not write this on the work order so no paper trail is relevant about this problem even thou the car is still under waqrranty, any member feedback.:rant:

This might sound kinda wierd, But check the hood seal on the cowl in front of the windshield. My sons Subi had that problem for years and the windshield washer hose was caught between the seal and the hood creating a leak, So the air would come from the engine compartment instead of fresh air and coat the inside of the windshield with a film.

Also check the air conditioning condensor pump your defrost actually goes through the ac to dry out the air before it goes on the windsheild or it will fog the windshield. With the defrost on and the ac pump should be engauging on and off. Also try the AC to get to blow so cold air make pump the pump is working
