does anyone know if the stock can on a 99-02 polaris 800 is the same as a 01 rmk 700,also does anyone know where i can get a used can to fit my 01 rmk 700 either stock or aftermarket cheap as i just bought the sled but i need a can so i can ride it ,looking for a can around the whitecourt area but will travel to edmonton to buy one for the right price

I have a can for 2000 RMK 800, and I would think that it would fit. I would sell it for a reasonable price!

Go to Royal Distrubuting and see if the part number is the same for both then you should have a answer for your self.

Based on the Royal distributing catalog............for Sno Stuff cans, The 01 RMK700 and the 00 RMK800 have the same p/n for a can...............
But if you look at the MBRP brand, the p/n's for each are different In particular the -00-01 RMK 800's have a P/N that is not shared with any other polaris in the list for MBRP


Is your can the same as any other 99-02 polaris?..........again based on the Sno-stuff in the royal catalog..........your sled shares the same P/N for all 00-01 600/700/800 RMK's, 00 600/700 XC/SP and also 00-02 700 SKS

Based on the MBRP listing in royal catalog your sled shares the same can with all 500/600/700(except possible sleds with reverse) and also fit 99 xc 500.

So not sure what this is telling me, there is a difference in something between the 2 brands.....

Hey gm3d how much do you want for it ,i just talked to the guy i bought the sled from he said he has the stock can and a brand new still in the box after market can for the sled but he wont be home till next week and i want to be riding it asap but am scared it will wreck the motor runnig it on the straight pipe stinger it currently has

have brand new stock can from 02 rmk800 if nothing else fills your needs...i am usually at anc once or twice a week so delivery would not be a problem...
but i am heading to mcbride tommorow so it would be next week at the earliest if that is any help
