SSRA Snow and Ice Drag Schedule

The SSRA has posted their schedule of sanctioned snow and ice drag races for the 2009 winter season on their web site at Home

There was some concern this past fall with the sanctioned classes that were available for the grass drag season. In particular there seemed to be a desire to have a class for very large CC sleds and/or sleds with power adders. The SSRA has been working with the ISR to address some of these concerns. To this end, racers may wish to view the rules for the proposed new class "Pro Max" which can be found on the web site.

Parts of the new look SSRA web site are still under construction so if anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of us.

I think the extra class is awesome Mike. There were a lot of conversations in the pits (as you would know) regarding the inability of the "Big Guns" to go at it.
I think it will allow a few guys to put their money where there mouth is...and should make for some exsiting racing.
