The Canadian Avalanche Centre has issued a
Special Avalanche Warning for the 2nd... 3rd weekend in a row. UNPRECEDENTED!
The Warning has expanded to include more regions of British Columbia.


March 2, 2010. – THIS IS THE LATEST UPDATE issued by the Forecasters at the Canadian Avalanche Centre.

An avys and avy, its is not going to look at where you reside before it mows you over. The best thing we can all do is have some training and ALOT of common sense. I have see people from all over put themselves in situations and places that they should not be, locals included. Dont take this the wrong way guys but it is not always the guys from calgary and edmonton that end up being where they shouldnt be. i have seen it from all angles and some of us that spend more time in the hills than others may become to confident in our abilities at times and put ourselves in less than ideal situations. we all need to use our heads a little more with the conditions this year and not put ourselves in these positions.
