A little article on Porche's newest 919 Hybrid with a video of a record setting lap where the driver breaks the previous lap record BY A MINUTE! The engine is a V4 turbo with electric assist. Essentially just a tweaked Prius that goes 380 KMH.

I once drove from Calgary to New Norway in 1 hr 50 minutes. And I stopped in Red Deer for fuel. 94 probe GT tops out at 220 km/h. 210 km/h with 5 guys in the car. Not sure how I made it to 46 years old.

oh boy I have many similar stories and often wonder how I made it this far.

that 919 is crazy. no rules built racecar. beats F1 times everywhere. giggity

Nothing like bouncing off the rev limiter repeatedly on the last straight....one more gear and the thing would brake the 400 mark.
