Hey everybody I was putting some spacers I had machined up on my quad (2014 kodiak) to help with the weight of the Plow because it does a pretty good nose dive. When I took the shock/spring assemble apart I noticed the shock doesn't rebound at all like a truck shock. Is this normal? Or is it meant to be a damper , and yes I did try to find hd springs but it seams like this model doesn't have any available :( . That's a good question. I've never hat to take a shock apart yet, so I can't comment definitively. I suspect the shock is just suppose to act like a dampener since preload adjustment is done on the spring. Too bad I just finished tossing a set that I could have taken apart to see for sure.

Maybe someone else can pipe in?
