The Rockford Community Hall is holding their annual ATV Derby once again this year May 21st 2011.
The derby will be starting from the Rockford Community hall.
Last year in 2010 we had 288 riders this was up almost 160 riders from the previous year in 2009.
Last years winners were.
The following riders were the winners
First Place
Scott Robutka, was a sponsor and rider. Won $941.80
Second Place
Dean Karcha, Was a sponsor and rider. Won $720.20
Third Place
Ryan Last, Was a sponsor and rider. Won $554.00
Rockford is located 25km north of Preeceville on Highway 9 and then 21 km West of Endeavour or you can get there by going 34 km north and then east of Lintlaw off of Highway 49. Watch for the signs on the Highway and flagging tape along the grid roads to get you to the hall.
Registration time 9 – 11:30 am
Pancake Breakfast Starting at 8:30
Length of ride 50km Through the Porcupine Forest which includes lots of mud and water.
There will be a halfway meal this year.
Everyone is welcome for the Buffet Supper 5:30 - 8pm
5 hands get a free supper
Supper $10.00
There will be a halfway meal again this year.
Camping available at Rockford & Endeavour
Hotel accommodations available Pioneer Hotel in Endeavour 15 minutes away or Preeceville 35 minutes away.
All riders are asked to please bring a non-perishable food item for support of the local food bank “Filling the Gap
