Re: Ride Sunday

Sundays Ride was incredible.
Epic snow is all I can say...

No photos due to the chill factor yesterday but the time spent was incredible.

  • Froze the tip of my nose - a bit tender today.
  • Dropped my glasses and drove over them - pretty much a write off (thanks to Duct Tape they are still usable).
  • ASE boys were entertaining.
  • Sara is cute and "Oh So Hugabble"
  • Brad is a great trail leader and found us endless snow.

A couple of photos..
The first photos shows how quick your locks can be cut...had a frozen one and Gerald had bolt cutters....wow was that fast.

The Glasses Incident.
Being in a hurry - I put my glasses on the tunnel of my sled and neglected to put them on after my helmet was in place.
Found them a few hundred yards town the trail (thanks to the excellent eyes of Brad).
Took me another 20 minutes to find the missing lens.
Back to the truck to do repairs.
Back in the saddle again and off to sled for the remainder of the day.
Have to get to my Optometrist to get eyes checked and then order new glasses.

Re: Ride Sunday

My day was great Glen...thanks again for the great trail markings to all who helped ,plus the nice clean staging area.
I was NW of Spruce Grove Sunday and some places had over 3 feet of powder...it was AWESOME!!
