My question is do i need to remove the primary clutch to replace the spring or can it be left on the sled and just remove the cap? I do have a puller if needed to remove the clutch, probably should pop the clutch off to clean it good and inspect i guess?? Just thought i would leave it on if it doesn't need to be removed.Let me know what works best. It's just something to do while we wait for the white stuff.

One can leave the clutch on the sled and change the spring, however seeing how you are waiting for the white stuff anyway you might want to pull the clutch and give it a good cleaning then take a good look at the rest of the clutch. Secondary could probably use a new spring and cleaning as well.
