Rear Springs

Wondering if anyone has had trouble with the rear suspension springs on the IQs. Mine seem to be toast. Called polaris asking them if they knew of anything heavier in the aftermarket and they said the factory polaris ones are the heaviest at .375". Just wondering if that's true or not? Thanks

I had put the 2-up model springs in my 08' Dragon - nice & stiff !! .405" - I think the part # is 7041941-067

I ordered in SLP X-clicks their suspension blocks, the hardest setting is about an inch or so taller than the stock block. Adds more tension, Should help.

Use these ones. They work great.

Part numbers
7042079-067 Spring, Torsion, LH, STD [.375/47 °]
7042080-067 Spring, Torsion, RH, STD [.375/47 °]

They have a tighter angle on them which increases the preload. I put them on my wifes IQ and my buddys 09 D8 and both now have zero sag. The iq has about 6" more suspension now too.

Copied this from a post called dragon torsion spring. I just put these on my sled and they work pretty good, took the sag right out of the suspension

Is it a big job to switch the srings out, mine really sags as well!

I didn't find it to bad, stand for the back, take the tension off springs, unbolt shaft, raise tunnel out of way. The skid did shift when unbolted, I used a come along to compress the shocks a bit to get it to line back up. Took maybe an hour

If you move your rear arm mount at the rail back 13/16" hole center to center it gets ride of the sag. Just need to drill two holes and move the bolt back.

How much sag will it get rid of? Mines sagged about 6 inches probably

Mine lost all sag. Sits at the top and some guys put the tensioner to the lowest setting and it still lost all sag.

thanks! im not looking at my sled right now, is this moving the arm toward the front of the sled or towards the rear mudflap?

I just took the bolt out. Made a mark with a thin tip marking pencil. Used a punch to make dent. Drilled a 3/16" hole then used my stepped bit and drilled it out to 3/8" I think? measure the existing. There is washers on the sides of that arm also on the inside of the rails that will fall out. Easiest way to put it back together is use a ratchet strap to pull arm so holes line up, loosen the nearest cross bars and push washers back in and put bolt through hole.
