radium ice fields?

hey guys was talking with a fellow today who mentioned riding the ice fields in spring. does anyone have any pics or info from out there? im thinking I would like to make a trip in there when it is good

The catamount glacier is now open, it's not a bad place to be.....

The northstar glacier is not open to sleds but skiing is ok...

I was on Catamount on Sunday and although the snow was rock hard getting up there, the Glacier itself was good riding. Especially enjoyed playing in the trees in the flats past warming hut and before the trail up to the Glacier. Lots of Avy's in the slides above the warming hut, at least on the right hand side of the drainage.

If anyone is interested in taking a guy up with them pm me and I will make the trip down from fernie before the season ends

We rode up past the cabin and into thunder area on Sunday and was decent. Talked with a couple guys there that rode the glacier most of the day and sounded like they had it even better. Thinking about taking the boards and kids up paradise this Saturday and hit the glacier Sunday.
