Pontoon boat popularity

Went out to Lake Sante on the weekend with friends who bought a new 22' pontoon boat with a 115 Tohatsu O/B. What a hoot cruising the lake, seadooing etc. What I noticed was how many pontoon boats that were out there, the baby boomers now want comfort and a good time. This new generation of pontoon boats are pretty versatile where you can go sking behind them, plenty of speed but a pain in the butt to park. Have a great day.

There are more and more turning up at Pigeon Lake as well. Generally it's people who are a little older and enjoy entertaining on the water.
With the bigger motors they are now pulling tubes and wake boarders.

I've considered one...... they offer a lot more floor space than a conventional boat......but I think for now I'll stick with a conventional boat.
