Polaris 860xp broken rim.

Did anyone else have issues with breaking rims on the 850 xp? I broke two already a rock jammed between the brake disc and the rim! Anyone have suggestions on what I can to so that doesn't happen again or less chance of it happening??

I have had it happen to me before. The only options are to not ride where there are rocks and to buy 14" wheels.

The 850xp comes stock with 14 inch rims already tho and ya I just watch where I'm riding really that's all I can fo

I broke two as well on my 850XP , bought a whole set of ITP 14 inch , guaranteed for life .I have not broke one of those in 3 years , better offset as well . Cost about 500.00 for the set , cost of one polaris rim 300.00...no brainer!!

its pretty much just bad luck. not much you can do to really stop it except go to a bigger rim.

They are already 14 inch , go to ITP , better offset , i have been runnin them for 4 years now and no cracks yet ,plus guarateed for life if you break one.

It's not bad luck. Polaris rims are chit. Go aftermarket and it won't happen again
