hey everyone i have an o6 nitro and im looking to buy a new phazer.. the only thing is i want to supercharge it and no one in this neck of the woods knows anything about it! i am trying to find details about it so if anyone knows anything!! how much boost?? top end? low end?? good exaust kits to go with it?? overall horsepower?? anything!!! thanks!!!!

Blaze rode a pair of them in '07. Backflips and all around serious mountain riding. MPI was the choice of his and he installed one in the Revy parking lot in a few hours. I don't think Jimmy is much of a wrench so if he can do it so can you.

I have one with a MCX turbo on it......it will lay the smack down on as many 800-1000cc moderate mods as you can bring.......I run the 151 x2.3x14 wide.
check out this vid from the Big Iron Shootout 2 years ago in Revy. The poor dudes I was racing were so embarassed they split.....getting smacked by a bloody Phazer!! lol

We had an 06 turbo in our group, and I had a bit of fun on it but nobody in the group of 10 liked it, the biggest complaint was the poor sidehilling and the turbo lag. The fuel management was a bit of a problem with the extra boost and with the rear mount turbo, we had to watch because after harder pulls it would start on fire from the exhaust when you stopped. I would ride one before you sank any kind of an investment into it.
Is that not like putting a bow tie on a bucket of sh*t? Why would you spend any money on a phazer? If you want more power for your phazer take the motor off your chainsaw and voila double the horse power you had and way less money than the turbo.

Never heard of a super charger on a fourstroke Sled? Superchargers are driven mechanically, belt driven usually. How can you super charge it if there is no external belt drive? Crank drives the primary only on all the current 4 stokers?.
Is there something else out there i'm missin?

who ever installed it for him did a crappy job then... i have never had a problem with mine like your saying there.
side hilling with a phazer is easy
turbo lag yes but its like that with any turbo that is rear mount and if you have it set up properly it makes a huge difference along with what fuel you use.

Saw a supercharger running in Golden last year...ran real strong. Just read an article comparing Superchargers and Turbo's...Turbo's seem to be the better choice.
Also saw a Phazer in BC...ran good but no comparison to an Apex.
