was told by DynoJet that it really doesn't matter where, but he suggested right before the can in the last part of the taper of the pipe.

Don't put it the chamber, too much turbulent gas and you wouldn't get a good reading.

I put mine on the intake pipe side of the can, right below the pipe/can joint. It's the best picture I got right now for it- you can just see it below the red sticker. It's a nice spot, out of the way. If you mount it on the pipe, that's another sensor you have to remove whenever you pull the pipe.
