Can anybody tell me which model year the outlander XTs got power steering?

Also, I notice that 07 Outlanders are listed with Mcpherson front suspension, and that 08 and newer are listed with double A-arm front suspension. Anyone know if this was an actual change in equipment, and if there was a great change in handling?

I have been shopping for a used outlander 500 or 650, and my Can-Am product knowledge is pretty limited.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out with my questions.

Power steering in 2010 model year.
A arm in 2009 model year.

From the 2008 up you can notice the difference in handling ride quality with the "A" arms.

The 2008's and below had a great ride also just not as smooth but still very good.

I thought just the 500's had struts and the 650 and 800 used a-arms

2010 got power steering. The 400's and 500's are m-strut suspensions. The 650 and 800's have the upper and lower a-arms....
