North buck lake

Thinking about goin up that way this weekend to scout some camping areas for May long. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where would be a good area for group camping

How did you make out CS989? As soon as you turn North off of hwy 663 to go into chump lake start looking for any open ground to camp. There is a few off the paved stretch and even more once you hit gravel. Make sure to get someone out there thursday or you will probably be out of luck.

Hope Lake is a great camp ground up there and is about a 20min quad ride to North Buck from there

What's with the ATV lockup there now? I grew up near that lake before it became paid camping with fences and barriers all over the place. Kind of ruined it but I'd love to go back with my family and SxS and see what the trails turned into.
