Will a shock work upside down? I'm having issues with a go kart build, and shock placement...I have a set of Fox remote resivoir shocks, and would like to place them 180* from their original design that was on the quad. will they work? Well? somewhat? Not at all? Damage the shock?

Here's a pic of her in a test location....

Looks ok, but check the top for frame to reservoir clearance as it the suspension travels up. It would be good if you took the spring off install it back to your test location and put the suspension through it travel up and down to check if anything binds or rubs. Have fun with your install. Should work out fine.

There's no issues with contacting anything, at full stuff there's still about a 1/2" clearance...I was worried about the shock not functioning properly because it was inverted from the way they came on the scrambler factory...
